The Inmate Visitation System is not currently available on-line. Inmate visits can only be made at the kiosk located inside the Detention Lobby, at this time.
Inmate visits can only be done on the Scheduling Kiosk in the Detention Lobby of the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office at 215 Rice Street, Grand Junction, Colorado. Lobby hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday and 8:00 am to 9:00 pm Tuesday and Thursday.
Detailed instructions for using the Kiosk and visitation times by pod are posted at the Kiosk location. You must have a pre-assigned ID number to use the kiosk. Detention staff can provide this number to you if you are an approved visitor.
All visitors (including juveniles) must be pre-approved and are assigned at the request of the inmate.
All visits for approved friends & family members are 20 minute video visits and must be scheduled two days in advance. Visits take place at the Sheriff’s Office. Inmates who are on sanctions or housed in Booking are not eligible for visits.
Visitation days for the entire facility are on Tuesdays and Thursdays, every week. Visitation times range from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm, but vary based upon where the inmate is housed. Inmates are permitted one visit per visitation day. A maximum of two visitors may be present during the visit, regardless of age. When you arrive for a visit, or to request a kiosk card, all adult visitors must present a valid government-issued photo ID. Visitors who are under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign a consent form prior to the visitation.
Canceling visitation appointments must be done by the Detention staff prior to the visitation day, the only notification method available is via email. Therefore, visitors are highly encouraged to enter a valid email address into the system under the UPDATE ACCOUNT section.
Note: Visitation will not occur on County observed holidays.
All personal inmate phone calls and video visitations are subject to recording and monitoring.
