The Complex Crimes Unit has the responsibility of investigating homicides, suspicious deaths, serious assaults, sexual assaults, missing persons, kidnapping, and crimes against children. The Complex Crimes Unit supports the Patrol Division by responding to major incidents involving crimes against persons.
The Complex Crimes Unit is comprised of a sergeant, five investigators and one part-time volunteer. The personnel assigned to the Complex Crimes Unit have received specialized training in their areas of expertise and posses over one hundred years of combined law enforcement experience.
