Historian/Photo Aide  

The Mesa County Sheriff's Office has an extensive collection of photographs of its activities. This position will entail assisting with labeling and indexing photographs. This position also entails assembling historical documents for presentation, archiving, or to be displayed in common areas. Historical data is often required for media and public relation project and it is necessary to consult sources of information, such as historical indexes and catalogs, archives, court records, diaries, news files, and miscellaneous published and unpublished material.
