Glow N Games is an official Law Enforcement Torch Run event benefiting Special Olympics Colorado! This unique a family friendly event is part of Police Week in Mesa County. Two events make up the unified games: a regional CrossFit Field Challenge and an individual night 5K Glow Run / Walk. Put on by first responders, this is an event you don't want to miss!!! 





CrossFit Field Challenge

hosted by CrossFit Junction and Pura Vida CrossFit


This regional CrossFit sanctioned event is comprised of first responder themed challenges:






Ever wanted to pull the SWAT Team’s Bearcat or try dragging the Fire Department’s dummy….this is your event! 



Build your Team

The CrossFit Field Challenge is a team event. Each team of four must be co-ed: 2 women and 2 men.  Event is $30 per person or $120 per team. Registration includes T-shirt and swag bag. Dressing up is encouraged!  Sign up now!


The Bearcat Pull

This has been a Police Week tradition for Law Enforcement for years and now it is available to the public! It's not just about strength, but strategy too!!  Each team will pull the armored vehicle a set distance for time. Gloves are recommended for this event. 


Man Down Rescue "Dummy Drag"

New this year! This fast paced Field Challenge event will get your heart pumping! Just like how fire fighters train to save people from burning buildings, teams will work together to drag the dummy to safety. 


Official Judges

Each Field Challenge event will have trained CrossFit judges officiating to ensure fairness and encourage team fun.


Prizes and Trophies for Top 3 Teams!! Not to mention bragging rights!!






5k Glow Run / Walk

Once the sun goes down, we turn on the lights and make the 5K course glow.  Register early and save! Adults $30, Students $20.  All proceeds benefit Special Olympics Colorado.


Participants get glow powder, glow sticks, and are encouraged to dress up!!  New and improved Glow Stations are set up throughout the course to maximize fun. For the serious runner, we've got professional timers to help get your personal record! Who will cross the crime scene tape finish line first?! 


The course

This is a night event so neon colors, glow sticks, and headlamps are encouraged! Registration includes glow sticks, and color powder packs that glow at stations placed throughout the course. Additional color powder packs can be purchased at registration booth.

Water stations are set up at finish line and at the midpoint of the run / walk. 

Law enforcement and volunteers are also stationed throughout the course to help guide runners and provide extra safety for this night run. 


Prizes and Medals for the Top Finishers!! Not to mention bragging rights!!

The best parking is on the South side of Long Family Memorial Park (3117 E 1/2 Rd) or at Central High School. You can also park on the North side of the park (3118 F Rd) but you will be further away from the main festivities.


Packet pickup:

Available at the registration booth from 4:00 pm until 10 minutes prior to the event. CrossFit Field Challenge Team designee may pick up packets for all Team members.

Restrooms are available at two locations at Long Family Memorial Park.
