The Mesa County Sheriff's Posse is a non-profit organization that assists the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office with search and rescue. The all-volunteer group is dedicated to assist in the search for missing persons, stimulate horsemanship and good fellowship, and preserve the customs and traditions of our western heritage.

Annual activities include Search & Rescue, CPRA Finals Rodeo, Gymkhanas, Salvation Army Food Drive, Parades, Air Show patrol, Mesa County Fair patrol, and other large events.
