**The next VAP Academy is scheduled August 16th through September 15th 2016, every Tuesday and Thursday evening, plus Saturday (10 am-3pm) August 27th and September 10th.**
|Classes include introductory training in:
- Trauma response and early intervention
- Dynamics of Domestic Violence
- Assisting the bereaved
- Children as Victims
- Assisting victims of sexual assault
- Working within "The System"

at least three 12 hour shifts per month. Shifts can be selected according to
your schedule and time off for vacation, etc. is accommodated. We also ask that
you attend our monthly information and training meeting.
